ADMISSIONS FOR PU COURSES

PROCEDURE

The course admissions are undertaken as per the Pre-university Board, Govt. of Karnataka( www.pue.kar.nic.in ). Admissions to all courses are undertaken as per the regulations of the PUC Board, Govt of Karnataka.

To accommodate for the smooth functioning of the College, as far as the course applicants are concerned, all dates regarding admission process will be well before the stipulated dates in phase with that of the PUC Board. All admissions are provisional and is strictly subject to the approval of the PUC Board.


DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

* Original / Attested copy of SSLC Marks Card.

* Address proof : any copy of Ration Card / Aadhar card / Gas Bill.

* Transfer Certificate – Original.

* 6 Passport size photos.

* Bank Passbook.

* Student Aadhar card.

* Proof of Caste, If other than GM (SC, ST & CAT – I compulsory).

REGULATIONS

* The academic work of the college starts at 8.45 a.m. All the students are expected to be in the quadrangle at 8.40a.m and assemble for Prayer and National Anthem at 8.45a.m. The students are expected to be in the Class Room at 9.00 a.m. and should observe punctuality.

* Students should not loiter on the quadrangle during the class hours.

* No student is permitted to leave the lecture hall without the permission of the lecturer or until the class comes to an end..

* If a concerned teacher is absent, efforts will be made to re-adjust the time table. If adjustments are not possible students should spend their time in the Library or in the classroom.

* Stringent disciplinary action will be initiated if student is found in possession of or under the influence of drugs or alcohol or found smoking.

* Boys and girls are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. In their inter-personal relationships, they should observe norms of decency and propriety.

* Sexual harassment on women students constitutes severe offence and the guilty would be penalized as per the prevailing law. As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to the standing committee of Bangalore University, the student during admission to our College shall sign an endorsement agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations stipulated by the competent authorities from time to time..

* Ragging is a cognizable offence and those found indulging in it, or even encouraging will be handed over to the Police as per G.O.EC122, URC96 dated:19.01.1997.

* Books, periodicals or papers of objection able nature should not be brought into the Campus.

* A dress code applies to every student of the College.

* Mobile (Cell) phone and other electronic gadgets should not be brought into the Campus. If found they will be confiscated and returned only after II PUC annual examination.

* In subordination, habitual in attention, neglect of work, unbecoming language or conduct, obscenity in work or deed renders a student liable to temporary or permanent dismissal.

* Every student is required to carry the identity card and wear it. In case if they do not come with ID card they have to spend the whole day in the library.

* The students are advised to treat the College property with great care and consideration. They should not make any ink marks on the furniture or on the walls. Any damage or destruction of the College property will be punishable individually or collectively.

* Students are forbidden to organize or attend to any meeting within the College or collect money for any purpose or circulate among the students any notice or petition of any kind or paste it on the College Notice Board without the permission of the principal.

* All students are expected to see the College Notice Boards for important Memos/Circulars. For any board related memo/information/circulars visit PUE website.

* After the class hours no student is expected to remain in the campus, unless there is function/ programme/ rehearsal/ reference work/ games practice.

* Educational tours or excursions will be arranged at Department Level at appropriate times during the academic year.

* Outsiders shall not be allowed inside the College during class hour to meet the students.

* Though the College is not responsible for the conduct of its students outside the premises, it will take note of any serious misconduct of a student outside the campus also.

* Every student must have the prescribed text books laboratory records, and other materials while attending the class.

* When the teacher enters the class the students must rise, remain standing and greet the teacher. When the attendance is called students must answer in turn.

* Students should not gather in large numbers either near the gates or on the by lanes.

* Students can park their vehicles only in the prescribed parking zone if they possess valid driving license. College authorities are not responsible for the loss of the vehicles.

* Students should not create nuisance and disturb the inhabitants in the neighbourhood.
